If you make a box and put all the children into it then open the box 18 years later what to you get? Each child has their respective talents and needs for educational diversity. Give ALL schools (and this includes all the private, non-confessional schools) a financial level playing field and autonomy to innovate and adapt without bureaucratic hindrances, and the educational sector (teachers, managers, etc.) will be able to realise, encourage and make use of the diversity of talents within our children. Or, alternatively, you could just … leave them in the box as the government does.
